Curly Bangs
New year, new hair?
To make a long story short, my boyfriend convinced me late last year to let my hair grow out naturally curly. I relax it, and pretty much have been relaxing my hair since middle school. I didn’t know how to handle my curly hair. But now I think there are far more resources out there with information on how to care for and style curly hair… so I’m going to give it a try! Something new, something different.
Since considering the change I’ve been paying more attention to women with curly hair and I couldn’t help but notice Beyonce‘s bangs in her Year of 4 mini-documentary. I never really thought about curly bangs, and have seen many instances where curly bangs can just go so, so, so wrong. And I personally do not like the curly hair, straight bangs look (for myself).
But within the past few months I have seen a few other stars rock curly bangs like Rihanna and Keri Hilson. Keri Hilson‘s curls look absolutely flawless!
Moral of the story? Curly bangs look great… when done correctly!
In the meantime, I’m in the “transitioning” phase so it will take quite a while for me to be completely curly. But I just wanted to share these curly bangs pics for all the curly haired girls out there. Enjoy
